The case for dramatic de-statification

Boy, that’s a clumsy title but I can’t off-hand think of anything better.  The point is that when it comes to getting the state out of whatever it is that the state is doing the quicker the better.

Why?

Well, it all comes back to why state activities are so bad.  Now, I’m not quite sure it all comes down to price signals, or the lack of them, but assuming it is, obviously the quicker they are re-established the quicker things will get better.

There is also a tactical element to this in that if liberation occurs overnight it is much harder for politicians to reverse the process.
